This kit is absolutely stunning, but be prepared for a serious test of your patience. This won’t be a quick build; expect to invest at least 25 to 30 hours. That said, here are some tips to make your experience smoother (especially #4 and #6):
1) Hand sanitizer is surprisingly effective at removing glue. You’ll definitely want this for those accidental glue spills on the plastic panes. Acetone works too, but be cautious as it may erase the black lines.
2) There are several helpful walkthrough videos on YouTube. Trust me, you’ll want to refer to these because the assembly instructions can be unclear.
3) Having some extra tools will be invaluable. Keep paper towels, Q-tips, and a suitable working surface (I used a cardboard sheet) nearby.
4) The final assembly is the trickiest part. To make it easier, I highly recommend using a knife (or a Dremel, if you have one) to widen the holes/sockets. When assembling the plastic part of the greenhouse, you’ll glue some brown pieces to the base of the plastic sheets. Some of these have slots for final assembly—make them larger before gluing. Do the same for the base’s receiving slots. This will simplify the assembly process immensely and save you from frustration.
5) The plastic sheets come with a protective film. Keep this on while you’re gluing everything together, but remove it before adding the black trim. The instructions are vague about this. Use a sharp knife to cut along the edges for easier removal.
6) When wiring, avoid hardwiring to the battery pack until you’re assembling the final circuit box at the back. The instructions lack clarity here, and I had to make some adjustments to fit the wires properly. Plus, it’s a hassle to maneuver the greenhouse with the battery pack connected.

The rest of the assembly is straightforward, but those plants and flowers are a real challenge. The instructions can be a bit unclear during that part. I highly recommend replacing the included tweezers with a good pair of needle-nosed tweezers, as the ones that come with the kit are not very useful. It also comes with two-sided tape, which works for some parts, but I believe a quick-drying glue would be much more effective. Thankfully, I haven’t made any errors yet! The instructions aren’t very detailed, so you have to pay close attention to the visuals provided, as there isn’t much written guidance.
