When we finally opened the box, it was too late for a return. One of the vases was broken, and the foam meant to secure it was dried out. The flowers are lovely, but it’s challenging to attach double-sided tape to the back of the flowers for securing them to the wire.

At first glance, it seems straightforward: just thread some buttons and felt flowers onto the wire, and you’re done! However, I quickly discovered that the flowers slide down the wire since only the buttons are secure with a quick twist. I attempted to use the included double-sided tape, but cutting tiny pieces and peeling the backing was quite tedious. Then, I tried Elmer’s glue, but it wouldn’t bond the felt to anything, which was frustrating. Ultimately, I resorted to my trusty glue gun to create a stop on the back of each flower—this worked perfectly, but I wasted a lot of time before figuring it out.
The kit doesn’t come with any instructions or helpful tips. If you decide to attach the colored twine to the vase, you’ll need to use the double-sided tape, another tedious task, but the final look is worth it.
I have a very active 5-year-old who managed to do the initial flower assembly and attach the gems to the vase, but she needed my help for everything else. Keep this in mind if you’re considering this for a young child; even kids aged 8-10 might still require significant assistance.
Despite the challenges, the end product is incredibly cute!
